Anamorphosis is a deliberate distortion of information such that only the recipient (in this example the observer in the right place) can understand and use it. In SEGMENT, the messages exchanged between machines (proof of identity, transactions, etc.) are anamorphosed so that only the machines concerned by the operations in progress can understand and process the data.

Each machine being placed in a “virtual cube”, its position in X, Y, Z and its specific ID allow the exchanges to be algorithmically encrypted so that only it can adopt the expected behavior (consensus, transaction, etc.).

Unlike “classic” Blockchains which are either public (non-permissible : Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.) or private (subject to authorization), SEGMENT is a hybrid Blockchain : made up of “virtual cubes” like so many islands structured as an archipelago, it allows you to build applications that are either public (open to all) or private (reserved -> KYC).

Any owner of a cube-island (company, institution, association) can thus decide, depending on the type of project and according to confidentiality needs, whether he offers open or closed access and features reserved for his network.
